Freelance writing is great side hustle as it allows you to make money working from home by trading your time. The draw back of this is that you only have so many hours in the day so you will be capped on what you can make. However, freelance writing is a side hustle that could easily become your main income stream. You key to making good money is a freelance writer is to make sure you are charging for the value you are bringing to the company.

Blogging is great side hustle job that can be done from home or anywhere in the word as matter of fact. It allows you to build a personal brand while owning your own asset. You can blog about anything you want, whether its a hobby, what you do for living or something completely different. Having a singular niche that you write about such as yoga, business, beauty, or cars allows you to build an audience who shares the exact same interest due to the singular focus. You can monetize your blog in a few ways: affiliate links, sponsored posts, or adding a shop link.

3. Become a Virtual Assistant

The biggest side hustles have one thing in common, there is a high demand for them in the current market. A virtual assistant is an assistant who works in a remote location, as opposed to a company’s office. They can help with tasks such as administration, social media, bookkeeping and more. There’s been a growing demand for virtual assistants from business owners who need help on various projects. As a virtual assistant, you can specialize in countless areas.

4. Create a Course or Info Product

If you have a skill that you can easily teach in a video or guide that other people would be willing to buy then this is a great way to create a passive income. This does require some time researching and investing time in marketing your course or product.

You can publish your course on the likes of Udemy or create an eBook and sell it on Amazon.

5. Get a Part Job

If you would rather trade your time for money you might choose to get a part-time job in the evenings or weekend. Side job ideas to make money include dog walking, babysitter, restaurant server, receptionist, administrative assistant, or barista. The issue with this is you are trading your time for money and the money on offer may not be as good as you would like.
